Who are we? Section membership currently consists of directors, facility managers, recreation coordinators, facility and parks schedulers, administrative staff and other parks and recreation professionals working in facility management and related support positions that operate, manage, and/or schedule community centers, parks, picnic shelters, sports complexes, athletic fields and other public facilities in the State of Minnesota.
Purpose Statement: The Community Facilities Section addresses timely issues that involve recreation professionals working in facility management and related support positions through presentations, roundtable discussions and networking opportunities.

- Community Recreation Services: individuals who address community-based issues in non-traditional, culturally diverse and economically challenged populations in urban, suburban and rural communities
- Enforcement: individuals who are park rangers or work in enforcement
- Fitness and Wellness: individuals who are in the area of fitness
