MRPA Members: Minnesota Recreation and Park Association is here to support and serve members, and perhaps even more so during challenging times like we’re now facing. As we continue to work to identify ways to help and be of service to members, we offer the following resources and communication connections. Governor Walz issued Executive Order 21-11 on March 12, 2021. There are facets of our parks and recreation offerings included in this executive order, including but not limited to:

Additionally the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has updated the Outdoor Recreation and Facilities Guidelines, and Camping Guidelines, to reflect EO 21-11.

Weekly Conference Calls
MRPA hosted weekly conference calls for professional members from March through June. These calls will resume as needed. Watch your email inbox for call-in and video call instructions.

Social Media

Connecting Communities to Nature
Most parks and recreation facilities are closed, but parks and trails remain open. Minnesota Children and Nature Connection’s website includes helpful resources.

MRPA has created a Google document for professional members to share information.
