MRPA Mentorship Program For the past three years, MRPA Mentorship Program took applications for both mentors and mentees interested in being a part of a mentorship program. This is a program hosted by the Young Professional and Student Network to help park and recreation students and professionals grow professionally in the field through meaningful connections. The mentorship program committee reviewed applications and were able to produce 26 mentor / mentee pairs in 2023. There were 24 pairs for the program in 2022 and 20 pairs for the program's first year in 2021. A special thank you to mentorship committee members John Stutzman, Meredith Lawrence, Jenna Smith, and Jessica Christensen Buck. The MRPA Mentorship Program was formed to help park and recreation students and professionals grow professionally in the field through meaningful connections. The program enables students and career professionals to be paired with an experienced or distinguished professional for an experience that will last a lifetime. We look forward to continuing the mentorship program again in 2024. The application process begins December 1, 2023. If you have any questions regarding this program, please reach out to either Meredith Lawrence mlawrence@mendotaheightsmn.gov or Thank you!
